Hamilton, New Jersey - January 1, 2020 – As part of their ongoing efforts to broaden the range of services provided to their clients, Carl G. Archer, Esq., principal of the Hamilton, NJ-based law firm Archer Law Office, and Christina M. Costanzo, Esq. and Kirk C. Russom, Esq. principals of the Toms River, NJ-based law firm Costanzo & Russom Law Group, LLC, today announced the formation of an “Of Counsel” relationship between the two firms. This arrangement is effective as of January 1, 2020.

This Of Counsel arrangement will allow both firms to collaborate in serving clients within the firms’ respective geographic footprints, and will enhance both firms’ abilities to handle elder law, estate planning, and residential real estate matters in central and southern New Jersey. The firms will now be able to offer convenient access to clients essentially anywhere between the Atlantic City Expressway and Interstate 78 in northern New Jersey.

Carl practices exclusively in the areas of Medicaid applications and litigation, veterans pension applications, guardianships, estate planning and administration, and related litigation. He is recognized as a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the ABA-accredited National Elder Law Foundation, and has been recognized continuously in New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine since 2012. Carl was named in 2016 as a “New Leader of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal, an honor given to only 47 attorneys that year.

Carl is a graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers School of Law-Camden, and early in his career completed a judicial clerkship in Somerset County. He is a Past President of the New Jersey chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and serves as Treasurer to Jersey Cares, an organization that increases civic engagement by organizing and staffing volunteer projects in urban areas throughout New Jersey. “I have come to know Christina and Kirk as consummate professionals, as both savvy business owners, and as excellent practitioners. Christina M. Costanzo focuses primarily on helping families protect themselves, their loved ones, and their assets in the areas of estate planning (Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills), probate and estate administration, and elder law and long-term care planning/Medicaid. She has been a licensed attorney in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 2011. Christina is a member of a number of state and local industry groups as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for the Ocean County Business Association. Christina obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Kirk C. He has been a licensed attorney in New Jersey since 2012. Kirk began his legal studies at the University of Miami School of Law and ultimately obtained his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law—Camden. Kirk completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, having obtained a Bachelor of Science, with a double major in Social Science and Political Science and a concentration in Sociology.
